Here's some information on my past, current and upcoming work!

Broken Bones

Spring 2018

January 2019

My most recent project, Parliament Square by James Fritz, was the Midwestern Premiere of this show. This was a passion project, completely produced by students at Missouri State University. The content of this show is more relevant that ever in our politically heated climate. I had a big vision for this show, and was able to make it come true through teamwork and determination with talented and like minded individuals.

January 20, 2018

The staged reading of Lauren Gunderson's The Taming was a part of the 2017 Inauguration Project, which was done across the nation on January 20th, 2017 (The 2017 Presidential Inauguration). This was my first directing feat that was produced in a week. It was a pleasure to direct this all female cast in an incredibly written political farce.

Broken Bones, a one-act written by Scott Swan and Drew McWeeny, was an intense depiction of an abusive relationship and was voted "Best One Act" at the 2018 Vickie Awards. I worked with incredible actors and created set pieces and technological aspects to present this hyper-realistic show. We worked with a certified fight choreographer to ensure the actor's safety. I am so proud of the work the entire team put into this heart-wrenching depiction of a terrible situation.

A Streetcar Named Desire

January 2020

I will be directing Tennesee William's Classic January 3rd-5th, 2020 at the Johnson County Arts and Heritage Center in Overland Park, Kansas. This production, in collaboration with Prior Productions, will challenge the audience, asking “How many times do we have to see this story until someone steps in?”
This is a story that is timeless. The trauma, the experiences, the pain. How long until we end this narrative?
